Hotel lobby with multi-city audience

Before starting the day's program, the guest needs the time of the place of residence and the time of the destination city. The content manager puts local time and selected cities next to the welcome message and hotel services. In the office space, the same pattern can show the time of several offices or the deadline of an event. Readability of numbers, audience distance and coordination with the day's program are the basis of page design.

Path from preparation to on-site use

1

Select the display type

Choose a digital or analog clock, date, world clock or counter to suit the application.

2

Harmony with the environment

Coordinate the size, color and location of the clock with the display and other parts of the channel.

3

Publication in the appropriate place

Place the layout on the selected displays and verify the device time and time zone.

Coordinate the solution with the dimensions of the collection

For a reception display, a legible watch is enough. In the multi-location collection, select the cities and programs of each location separately so that the audience is not faced with additional information.

Questions to ask before choosing

Does the world clock replace the device clock setting?

The time zone and clock of the device must be set correctly. Display cities and clock layout are another part of page content setup.

How does the content behave when disconnected?

Local time can remain visible, while weather data requires a fresh connection. Match player capabilities and stale-content policies to the conditions at each location.

What information is required to receive a suitable demo?

Introduce the place of use, the number of displays or kiosks, the audience of the content and the source of the information. The demo should show the actual way of using your collection so that the layout and service model can be selected based on the needs.

See the clock for your scenario

Discuss the needs of the collection and the place of use with SignagePlus experts so that the combination of content, equipment and service model is checked.
