Design the text for real spacing
The title and main message should be read from the usual place of the audience. A crowded image behind the text, very thin font weight and long paragraphs can reduce readability. See the sample on hardware and in real light; Don’t just determine the right size from the preview of the laptop.
Don’t just rely on color for information
Pair each status color with an understandable label or symbol. The difference between “Active” and “Closed” must remain clear without relying on color alone. Check text-background contrast and interface focus states so the message structure remains understandable in different conditions.
Keep Kiosk Interactions Short and Easy to Restart
Clear options, well-spaced controls, and a recognizable return path make it easy to use. The user should know what stage he is in and what happens after the selection. Coordinate the time of expiration and return to the start page with the need of service and retention of user information.
Scenario: Guide kiosk of a building
The start page presents several primary destinations and a clear search path. The user selects a section, and the guide uses names consistent with the building’s physical signs. The route back is always visible. Test the prototype with people unfamiliar with the environment so unclear points can be corrected before wider deployment.

Record task completion, stopping points and touch or comprehension errors using a consistent method. Include varied people and conditions, then measure the same journey again after changing the design. Do not present a limited review as complete accessibility validation for every installation.
